UBC-TV Taps Madu, Edozie & Madu, P.C.

NEW YORK, NY-April 17, 2001- Harlem New York based Urban Broadcasting Company, (www.urbanbroadcasting.tv) is expected to launch Its 24-hour television network -UBC-TV-in August 2001. UBC-TV will launch under OlympuSAT, which Packages independently owned TV networks for transmission and distribution.
UBC-TV will launch on OlympuSAT's "Family Pack" of networks distributed to cable operators and direct broadcast satellite operators.
Peggy Dodson, the President and CEO, says the network will cost $50-100 million to launch, and is being funded by several private Investors.

Following the sale of Black Entertainment TV (BET) by Bob Johnson to Viacom for $3billion, a vacuum has been created in the market for minority television programming. UBC hopes to fill this Vacuum.
